George Vondriska teaches you how to add a touch of class to the handle of an ice cream paddle or any other lathe-turned kitchen utensil with a curved accent stripe. He cuts a blank of rosewood into two parts on the bandsaw with a gradual curved line, and then demonstrates the proper way to clean natural oils from the wood with denatured alcohol and glue a thin strip of maple in between the halves of rosewood as the accent.
